Lincoln Square BID sponsors free outdoor concerts at Richard Tucker Park, 66th Street and Broadway, Manhattan, every Wednesday from Noon until 2:00pm, July 7 to September 1, 2010.  July 7, 14, 21, 28 August 4, 11, 18, 25 September 1. The series features an eclectic mix of talented performers with a range of styles, including Americana, Jazz, Blues, and Classical.

Sunday, September 12, 2010 is the 8th Annual West Side County Fair from 01:00 PM–06:00 PM at Pier 1, Riverside Park and West 70 Street. Sponsored by Riverside Park South/the NYC Dept. of Parks and Recreation.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week runs September 9-16, 2010 at Lincoln Center. Fashion Week organizers are including an evening of discussion for youth who live in the near-by NYCHA developments. To obtain information about local events, go to www.fashionsnightout.com This year, on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 Fashion’s Night Out is making history by putting on the biggest public fashion show in New York City history. Guests will get a look at the best fall 2010 trends, modeled by the industry’s runway pros. Tickets will be available while supplies last through the Lincoln Center box office or at LincolnCenter.org/Fno beginning on August 19 (already sold out). A portion of the processed will benefit the New York City AIDS Fund. On Friday, September 10, 2010, Fashion Night Out takes place from 6pm-11pm in stores all over the city.
